SO, mom and I were not planning to hear from the doctors until around 2, but......
They just came back to get us and told us that they had already taken the balloon out of dad's heart!!!!! We are having a party in the waiting room. We got to go see him, he looks great! Life is good :)
Next present to arrive between 5 and 6 p.m. all signs look good!

ReplyDeleteI had no idea about the events that have taken place with your family until recently, when I saw AB's status on Facebook. PLEASE send my love to your Dad (always Dr. Patty to me) and the rest of the fam. You guys were such a vital part in my upbringing and I am so thankful that I got to meet and spend time with every one of you. Two weeks ago, I was in the same ICU at Duke when my grandmother had a heart attack...so it's very fresh and familiar in my mind. I know that he is in the best hands possible. Please take care and I'll send all my good energy that way!
(P.S. The chicken broth at the hospital is better than the beef broth...trust me :D)
